First off, does anyone else realize that Christians believe in zombies? Jesus (Joshua) died, and was dead for three days, then rose again a living man.
Now let me continue to the next subject that alows me to speak of Catholics.
Vampyrism and canibalism. That is what they believe in. Communion. "Eat of my flesh and drink of myblood". Interesting is it not?
Ah and thus is the end o this thought for my muse for said subject has run off from me.
Fair thee well dear ones.

Thy Body Is Thy Temple
"Thy Body Is Thy Temple"
“Do you not know that your body is a temple of the Holy Spirit, who is in you, whom you have received from God? You are not your own; you were bought at a price. Therefore honor God with your body.” - Corinthians 6:19-20
This is the reason that many people disagree with tattoos and body modification. Mind you, I have my own opinions on every peircing, body modification and tattoo. I believe that every tattoo should have a meaning behind it and a reason for getting it; I do not believe that one should walk into a tattoo palor on a whim, see a 'cool' tattoo and get it right then and there. As for body modification and peircings, each person has their own reasons for getting them, any where between sexual attraction/stimulation to just wanting it done to a spiritual reasoning. Who am I to say not to get one. I have my ears and naval pierced because I wanted them done, Iam getting my tongue pierced because I like the taste of metal, want it done and other reasons that are just facination-drawn. As for the tattoos I want, they all have significant meaning behind them and every part of them has a specific symbolism, from the number to colors chosen.
Now.
"Thy Body Is Thy Temple"
“Do not cut your bodies for the dead or put tattoo marks on yourselves. I am the LORD” -Leviticus 19:28
But it is not of flesh and blood, you say. It is not in the image of the lord as we are, you say? Look at it this way, we build temples to worship in to please the lords(ladies) that we admire and believe in. We build statues and figures of those we pray to, is that not in the image of the lord? Is that tree that you carve that cross out of a living thing as we are? It has it's own flesh and blood as we do, does it not. As stated in Leviticus 19:28, a section of the old tesitment, the lord does say not to tattoo ones sept or to cut yourselfs though in the same sentance says not to do it for the dead. Now, this was stated in the old tesitment, while the above qoute from Corinthians 6:19-20 is from the new tesitment. How you choose to view it is of your own accord. I see no harm in accepting these markings and getting them.
"Judge Not Lest Ye Be Judged."
"The tattoo is the mark of the soul.
It can act as a window through which we can see inside,
or it can be a shield to protect us from those who cannot see past the surface."

Mortally Wounded Chilvary
It has come to my attention that chivalry as well as romance has faded from the world. The mystery, the romance and passion behind the Masquerade has been a favorite device used in many stories of the years. This has been used in fiction tales that include vampires, as well as more 'realistic' stories. Prehaps in this day in age many people long to have the romantic experience that is rarely acted out today.
There is no passion in love anymore, or at least it is not a common thing. Woman have opened the door to independence and upon doing so they have done nothing but let chivalry out in the cold to die and along with it romance. Woman as well as society are the cause, in my opinion, to the mortal wounds struck upon such things.
We no longer teach our men to show women respect, no longer are they taught to hold open the door for young ladies, to bring them flowers, take them on real dates, no longer do they take the time to be sweet and romatic to the women they try to get with; no for this would be weakness in the eyes of society?
We no longer teach out women to hold their head high and keep self respect for themselves, to be able to take care of themselves, to go after the guy who takes the time and shows the effort of wanting their love rather then their bodies. Such women who take the time to get dressed nicely but dont wear 'slutty' clothes to intice men are very rare indeed.
Is it the mothers and fathers of the nation who are to blame? Do they not take the time to teach their children that there is more to life than what is to be seen? That their virginity, that there morals, their dignity, their pride it is all worth more than a movie and icecream? It is all worth more than anything else in the world?
Who cares what people think of you if you know that the path you are on is right, just and what you believe in? So society thinks you odd and unusual, welcome to the masses. Dont be afriad to stand out, to teach your children self-respect as well as respect for others before they turn into another ignorant face in the crowd. We need to begin to intill tolerance as well as old ways into the future generations; teach them to care fo other living things, to care for nature, to respect their elders and eachtoher, to open doors for young ladies, to endulge themselves in romance without worrying what the world would think of them, to embrace their family and to be honest and truthful but not only to others but themselves as well.
Teach your children the way they should be rather then the way society wants them to be.
Teach your children the way they should think rather than what society wants to brainwash them to think.
Teach them to survive.
Teach them to so right.
Take the time.
Teach them.

Pack Life & Rules
"You think Iam an ignorant savageAnd you've been so many placesI guess it must be soBut still I cannot seeHow the savage one is me.How can there be so much that you dont know?"
I live, and will die, by pack rules.
"You think you own whatever land you land on
The earth is just a dead thing you can claim
But I know every rock and tree and creature
Has a life
Has A Spirit
Has a name"
Pack rules are a very simple set of rules set up by nature, for nature. They keep the balance and control the system, unfortunately humans have lost this way of life and it truly a shame. I call them pack rules because the simplest way to describe them, for myself, are to use wolves as examples. Wolves are noble, misunderstood, creatures whom I relate to better than I do humans.
"You think the only people who are people
Are the people who look and think like you
But if you walk the foot steps of a stranger
You'll learn things you never knew you never knew."
A pack is set up like a hierachy. There is an Alpha who runs the pack, protects the territory as well as those within it and who makes sure that they are taken care of, fed and safe. None oppose the Alpha without punishment and when their is a rival, is a challenge is drawn, the winner is the Alpha. To hold your place at the top you must be strong. You cannot be strong only in physical strength for if you are merely a warrior than you will lead your pack in destruction and you cannot by strong only in mental strength for then you cannot defend your pack, or you will be over thrown by a stronger rival. You must balance these in order to be a good leader and a strong fighter. Only fighting when you must and when the cause is just; not just to fight nor to prove a point.
"Come run the hidden pine trails of the forest
Come taste the sun sweet berries of the earth
Come roll in all the riches all around you
And for once never wonder what they're worth."
I can sit in my room, the door open and my dogs do not enter without my permission. They do this because my room is my territory; I am the Alpha and within the house, especially my room, I am higher then they are on the hierarchy. They understand that is it mine and they respect it. When I eat, if they beg, I pause and stare into their eyes. Within seconds they look away because to hold the gaze is a threat and is a way to challenge another; they do not challenge me.
My dogs to not bite me because I am the Alpha and it is known, they do not challenge my rank and do not question. I work like a wolf, thus they understand me. When they misbehave or get too far out of line I pin them to the floor by their throat. This is not done in a violent manner and I no not cut off their air throw, I hold them there with a gentle grasp but strong enough so that they cannot get up. Some may say that this is animal cruelty but its not, there is no harm done to them. It is a way of saying that you are the Alpha, any dog that growls, nips/bites, tries to escape you, does not show their belly to you, they are challenging your athority and this is where many problems can come from. many people let their dogs run their lives with no punishment, no rules nor guidelines. The dogs become the Alpha and the human a mere person within the ranks below them.
"The rainstorm and the river are my brothers
The heron and the otter are my friends
And we are all connected to eachother
In a circle, in a hoop that never ends"
In another sense, I do not see my dogs are pets; they are my companions, friends and family. All animals are, to me at least. I play tug-of-war with my dogs, like a dog, with one end of the rope in my mouth and the other end in one of the dogs mouths. Its wierd, I am sure, but its natural for me and its good for them. Maybe they respect me more because I see the world as they do, or maybe they dont. Perhaps I just have the aura to let others know that I am not a threat but an not a push over, or maybe the understanding is just there and respect is shared between us.
Whatever the reason, pack rules, pack life works for me and if only the strong survived like it was meant to me, then the world would be better. If we gave back and lived in the long forgotten harmony we would not have to fear the destruction of our world, of our mother...
All song lyrics are from Disney's Pocohantas "Colors Of The Wind"
We Are All Conencted
Is it so very hard for humanity to realize that we are all connected to everything else around us. No matter what you believe in, Mother Earth and Father Sky are part of us. Every living thing is a part of the whole yet we, humans, are the only ones that are destorying our mother. She is angry with us and yet she gives us life and love we abuse her.
We are all connected to eachother in a great chain and a circle and we have seemed to forgotten where we come from.
When we are in the womb it is the best time to see that we are part of it all; when we are concieved we are part fish, part lizard. We have small fins and breath through gills, we have tails and we live in an elastic aquarium within our mothers. Can you forget so easily that you are apart of the greater thing?
Through out history so many people, throughout the world, lived in peace with nature. The Native Americans seemed to be the last to realize this. They would take from Mother Earth but they would also give back to her. They lived in harmony with the world and with the creatures in it.
Harmony.
It seems that we have lost this word throughout the times that we have lived. Too few can grasp the definition of harmony much less witness it. It is said that even if their are two people living in the world, there will be war. Could it possibly be true that no man, woman or child would put aside their differences and work together rather then against eachother? Maybe its just difficult to look through the eyes of another and too easy to forget that there is a way to live amongst eachother in peace, in harmony, but only if you take the time to try.
Is it turly so difficult to see this?

Behind The Mask; An Introduction
So I figured that I would introduce myself a bit more; that way you know where my view points come from and have a better understanding of who I am.
First let me make this clear, VERY few people actually know who I am behind my many masks.
My name is Ookami Lynn and I am married to a United States Marine named Bane Rolfolk; he has been my mate for many life times, I do believe. I trust him with all of my heart and soul and cant explain how much I love him.
When it comes to my beliefs; I am a confirmed Catholic and have not only attended different churhes for different religions but also went to Catholicism classes. Now I do not hold a religion and I do not claim I belong to any religious sect for I do not worship anything; however I do tell people that I am Pagan for it is the easiest way to explain what I am.
Before I go any farther I would like to let it be known that I do not worship anything. The fallowing is my personal opinion and I dont say that this goes for others, just myself. I do not worship because I see worshiping and graveling is fearing. I refuse to fear my creator. S/he gave me life and yes, can take it away in a split second but I do not fear him/her. Why should I fear? The creator can destroy me and everything around me, and I ould be isolated and alone all within a days work but I dont believe that fearing is the way to go about it. I believe what will happen is what is meant to happen and that it is all for a reason. I believe that you should be able to have a relationship with the being that you fallow. You should respect him/her but you should not fear.
I believe in a higher being, a being that created it all; the universe, everything. I believe that there is a reason for everything that happens and that Karma can come back and tear you a new one if you dont watch your step. I believe in Gaia, mother nature, and she and I have a respectful relationship. I talk to her like I would my mother or a friend. I do not curse her name, and I do not grovel before her, I do not pray to her and I do not ask her to help me win the lotto. I ask her for advice and she helps me by sending small messages in nature and animals.
I see a life, a spirit, in everything. The trees, the water, the animals and people; we are all connected and we are all part of a bigger picture. I believe that animals are to be respected and I dont say that I have 'pets' I say that I have 'companions' and 'friends' because that is what they are to me. A lot of people cant see this the way I do, or they dont agree with it. That is fine by me. Every person should be able to fallow their own beliefs without cristism.
I guss I was lucky growing up. My parents never pushed religion on me. They have always been very accepting of different religions and as long as I wasnt sacrificing animals (or my sisters) in the backyard and raising the forces of darkness they were pretty cool about it all. I have always been someone who loves nature and have always been very intune to animals, or at least as far back as I can remember.
My Uncle used to take me, when I was very very little, out into the woods and walk around with me. Its probably one of the reasons that I love it so much and find it so peaceful, its familiar. My Uncle has always been there for me and in all honesty, he and his house have been the only stability in my life untill recently. When I was growing up we used to move around a lot and people, some my own flesh and blood, would come and go from my life; he was always there. He was kind of like a father-figure in his own ways, I can be honest with him and open up without worrying about critism...not too much at least, and that which he gives is helpful or all i fun.
Now that I have lost my compelte train of thought.
Ah. I dont agree with people shoving religion down people's throats. Like the Christians over at Ocean Walk (Christians are the easiest to pick out when it comes to most flaws, sorry), they will preach on mega phones and speakers and will try to convert people right there on the spot. Well here is an interesting story:
A friend and I were walking along Ocean Walk and a man tried to hand us the little brochure about Christianity and tries to talk to us, we both tell him "no thankyou, we're fine." and keep walking. He calls out after us "Do you know where you'll go if you die to night? You dont want to go to hell do you?" My friend, getting annoyed because this was the fifth time that this has happened, looks over his shoulder and says "Iam a Witch", do to the fact that he is Wiccan. The man, without missing a beat, calls out "Then you need to repent!"
Now, last I checked in the bible is says "Judge not lest ye be judged." That's a direct qoute. Now. This is something that I have found very interesting because most who fallow the bible dont fallow this and automatically condemn all that are not like them.
Eh. I shall leave this subject and continue on my introduction.
I have Romani blood coursing through my viens, meaning my family comes from Gypsy folk. I read cards, Oracle cards for the time being and soon I shall pick up Tarot cards as well. I am rather accurate with them and havent been too far off yet; though I do not believe fully that I can be right all of them time, I have been doing a really good job. Turns out my Uncle and Father are accurate as well when it comes to cards. Comes from their side of the family, as well as the Romani blood line, go figure. I do however, respect people enough to tell them "if this bothers you I will stop" or "if you get unconfortable tell me and I'll stop." I dont like manking people unconfortable and "Psychic Readings" tend to make people unconfortable. I also dont read for people unless they tell me to, or if my cards tell me to...long story short there is energy in everything and you can communicate with anything if you learn to listen with eanery rather then your ears.
Let me see, I see through the eyes of a wolf. In saying this let me clarify, I compare myself, my family and my life to wolves. I call my family/close friends my pack, I use words like "pack", "territory", "pup", "mutt" etc in my every day language about any/everything. I am very cautious about new people and places. I dont let anyone near my neck unless I truly trust them because I view, letting people kiss or bite my neck as submission and I dont submit. When it comes to my pack I am the leader in most cases thus the "Alpha". I train my dogs by pack rules. Meaning that my dogs know that I am the Alpha and they listen to me because of it. My dogs refuse to hold eye contact with me for any given ammount of time because that would be a challenge to the alpha. In my every day life, reacting with my dogs or people I growl, whimper and howl to show expressions. Play Tug-of-War with my dogs by acting like a dog and biting the other end of something and pulling like they do.
Needless to say, I am like a wolf in many, many ways. :)
Well that is all for now.
Any questions?
